I began my healing practice with a teachers’ training course in Hatha Yoga when I was 18. My teacher was Indra Devi. After travels to India and several “spiritual awakenings”, I taught yoga for 12 years and started a massage practice in 1970.
I ran the spa at the prestigious Vermont resort, “Topnotch at Stowe”. I attended one of the first month long trainings of Polarity therapy in 1975, and from there continued an eclectic study of therapies and trainings in alternative health until the present time.
The most influential studies were three years of Hakomi training (also known as sensory motor psychotherapy), the two year Masters program of University of Santa Monica, my studies in transpersonal psychology at Southwestern College, and the esoteric work of Noetic Field Therapy with Dr. Robert Waterman and Ms. Ellavivian Power.
I had a private practice in Santa Fe, NM for 24 years, doing bodywork and counseling.
I also taught privately and taught various courses at healing schools there.
For the past eleven years, I have been an avid student of Argentine tango, and teach it professionally.
I have am a licensed LPC counselor, a licensed massage therapist, and halfway through my certification of EMDR. I have completed both levels of EMDR.
I have completed levels I and II of cranio sacral training with the Milne Institute.
See a future page on this site about this profound way of cranial sacral practice.
